Most of you know me as a probate trial lawyer, trying inheritance cases from Palm Beach Gardens to Delray Beach. I also love to travel and love all things Italian. (They do so much right ! Art, food, wine, cars, fashion ….) Our West Palm Beach probate law firm spends a lot of time in the probate court, but we also eat and drink too much coffee. Most of the time, we are eating between court appearances, client meetings or probate research on Clematis Street. The Palm Beach County probate law firm, the Pankauski Law Firm PLLC, participated in the Probate Trivia Night held Thursday, May 22nd, 2014 in Boca Raton.   The West Palm Beach probate litigation firm won an award for knowledge of Florida Probate Law.  The event was sponsored by the Palm Beach South County Bar Association.  Over 100 contestants signed up, including Palm Beach probate lawyers, probate court judges from the Delray Beach Courthouse and others in the wealth field.  Attendees included estate lawyers from Jupiter to Boca Raton.

A Palm Beach probate appeals court just handed down, two days ago, a ruling that one’s cremated ashes are not “property” under the Florida Probate Code.  This probate case from the Delray Beach Courthouse dealt with two parents who could not agree on where to lay their son’s ashes, after the son was cremated.
