If somebody interferes with your inheritance,  and if you suffer damages, then you may sue them in Florida and attempt to recover damages. This lawsuit is often referred to as tortious interference with an expectancy, or, tortious interference with an inheritance.

The Defense of Marriage Act is history. The Defense of Marriage Act is also known as DOMA.   DOMA is history. But what will it take to overturn DOMA in a state like Florida, which has a constitutional amendment, and other state laws, which restrict the rights Florida citizens who are gay? Even though the United States Supreme Court overturned DOMA in June 2013, same-sex marriages, gay marriages, are presently not permitted in the state of Florida.

“Where did my inheritance go?” “Who took my money?” Often, some beneficiaries of Florida estates are disappointed when they don’t receive an inheritance.  Or, sometimes a Florida will or a Florida estate leaves you less of an inheritance than you expected.  “Where did the money go?  I thought mom or dad were worth a lot more than that” you wonder.
