Can you undo an improper inheritance after the fact? How do  you reopen a probate case in West Palm Beach? This is exactly the issue faced by a foreign court after the Czech Republic filed a probate suit against Lichtenstein’s prince! Is this a case from a movie, no just another day of inheritance lawsuits.

Inheritance Lawsuits

  • One of the most common types of probate lawsuits in West Palm Beach are those centering around an inheritance.
  • That being said once the estate is closed you may have trouble getting the West Palm Beach probate court to reopen the estate.
  • How do you reopen an estate in probate court?
  • You may want to start by filing a notice for need of subsequent administration which is outlined in Florida’s probate code.
  • This is one of the rules of procedure used by the West Palm Beach probate code.
  • The point is, no case gets better with age.
  • A probate lawsuit is the opposite of a fine bottle of wine.
  • Some would say, they age like milk.
  • The longer you wait the more evidence is destroyed and the more witnesses that cannot be located.
  • If you have a probate lawsuit time is of the essence so you can avoid reopening an old inheritance.

Czech Gov. Challenges Royal Inheritance

  • The Czech state has filed a probate lawsuit against the crowned prince of Lichtenstein!
  • They claim that vast property belonging to the man’s family were confiscated during WW2 because the Prince of Lichtenstein at time had German ancestry.
  • The royal family denies these claims but they have never answered the lawsuit.
  • This is not a good practice in West Palm Beach as it could lead to a default.
  • Ironically this entire lawsuit stems from poor recording of deeds and other paperwork that have only made the probate lawsuit more difficult.
  • Three years ago the family noticed that they still were recorded as owning the property despite the confiscation and they are clinging to that procedural error.
  • Do you agree?
  • Would you answer this if it was you in a royal probate lawsuit?
