Rock and Roll Legend Chuck Berry Passes Away

The New York Times reported on March 18,2017 that Chuck Berry had passed away. He was a rock star best known for his songs including “Johnny B. Goode” and “Roll Over Beethoven.” This amazing rock legend probably left more than just much desired music. He possibly left very valuable intellectual property, like Prince did. This intellectual property could include the rights to his songs, recordings, and images. Who inherits that intellectual property? Who inherits Chuck Berry’s property? Who inherits his estate? Will there be probate litigation? Will the beneficiaries hire probate lawyers?
