Malcom Young Dies at Age 64

On November 18, 2017, The New York Times reported that Rockstar Malcolm Young had passed away. He was best known for his role in the famous band, AC/DC. He was only 64 years old when he passed away. Did he have a will or a proper estate plan in place? Which probate law firm will handle the probate process for his estate?

A February 8, 2017 New York Times article states that only 42% of American adults have a will. This data was taken from a survey that was published on Caring.com. According to the survey, 81 percent of people 72 and older have one. However, the younger the person, the less likely it is for them to have an estate plan. Hopefully, Young consulted with an estate planning attorney. Florida probate lawyers know that, if you die without a will, your heirs will inherit. They will inherit according to Florida intestacy laws. Although Young’s estate is not a West Palm Beach or Florida estate,  it is hard for Florida estate attorneys not to wonder who will inherit from him.
