Fast & Furious Star Paul Walker’s $25 Million Estate Goes to Daughter — how will daughter deal with inheriting vast wealth ?
With the untimely death of Paul Walker, the star of The Fast and The Furious, http://www.thefastandthefurious.com/ attention has focused to his $25 million estate.
Walker evidently had a $10 million home and a #Will which left his entire estate to his minor daughter.
Media sources report that Walker named his father as his #EstateAdministrator , what some may call me #executor of his estate, or, as they call it in #FloridaProbateLaw, the #personalrepresentative.
He appointed his mother to be the #guardian of his minor daughter.
It’s not clear just yet whether Walker’s father will be managing the #EstateInheritance by some type of #FamilyTrust or whether the #guardian of the daughter will also be the #guardian of that property.
Many wealthy families face the hurdle of #WealthAdministration. Many wealthy families wonder how their children, and grandchildren will spend, or mis-spend, their #inheritance. Will the #estate money be used for good, and educational purposes, to make a better life, or will the #FamilyWealth be misspent and misused?
Many wealthy individuals use a #RevocableTrust in their #EstatePlan for situations just like this. In #FloridaEstatePlanning circles, #RevocableTrusts, also called #LivingTrusts, are very common along with #LastWills, #PowersOfAttorney and #LivingWills.
