On Saturday, July 15, 2017, The Palm Beach Post reported that David Zablidowsky had passed away. His band’s RV had a flat tire. Upon discovering the flat tire, the driver of the RV pulled off the highway and a tractor trailer crashed into the RV. The New York based band had been traveling to a concert in St. Petersburg, Florida. Zablidowsky was a bassist who had also performed with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Z02. Furthermore, he had toured with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. At only 38 years old, did Zablidowsky have an estate plan or Florida will?

Florida probate litigators and trust attorneys know that many young people die without a will. Sometimes, unfortunate things happen and we lose the lives of loved ones much sooner than expected. Did this young musician have a will? Had he created a Florida estate plan with an estate planning lawyer? Click here to read the Palm Beach Post article regarding his tragic death.

An April 27,2016 Forbes article states that,”according to a 2015 Rocket Lawyer survey, 64% of Americans don’t have a will.” Estate planning lawyers in West Palm Beach could probably guess that more elderly people have wills than younger people. The article confirms this. In addition, the article says that “of those surveyed without a will, most (60%) indicated they simply haven’t gotten around to making one yet while just over a quarter (27%) don’t feel that it’s urgent.” To read the entire article and find out what celebrities died without a will, click here.
