A Deputy Sheriff in Florida is Charged With Exploitation of the Elderly

On January 24,2017, CNN reports that Sarasota, Florida detective Frankie Bybee had been arrested for something unthinkable! If the elderly cannot trust a deputy sheriff, who can they trust? A 79 year old woman called the police in need of help. Bybee responded to the call and befriended the woman. The woman obviously felt she could trust him and was safe, as he was Sheriff. The woman reported that he began trying to control her.  Also, forged checks were found totally over $60,000. He then broke into her house and attempted to kill the woman and frame it as suicide.
