Is the Trustee Required to Tell Me Where The Money Is?

Absolutely, yes. A Florida trustee is required and mandated to tell you where all the trust money is, not where some of the trust money is, not where some of the trust money may be invested. They can’t play hide the ball. They have to tell you, the trust beneficiary, exactly where all trust assets are: real estate, cash, investments, marketable securities, whether it’s at a bank, a brokerage company, or there’s title to real property that’s out there in the name of the trust. Trustees owe you that duty.
