What is a Caveat and when can you file one with the court?

If you are an interested party in a Florida Probate and feel that you are not getting the information you need, you can file a Caveat with the Court. Under certain circumstances, you can file a Caveat before someone passes. An Interested Party that may wish to file a Caveat might be a creditor, a family member or friend who believes they may not be included in the proceeding as they move forward.
