Defending Trustees

Defending trustees and defending personal representatives from unwarranted or frivolous lawsuits is an important part of our law firm’s practice. We use every defense that’s available under the Florida Trust Code and under the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure that we’re able to, to properly defend trustees and executors of Florida estates, what we call personal representatives. For the trustee’s benefit, under Florida law, there are a number of affirmative defenses and defenses in general, as well as unique statutes of limitations that all trustees should be taking advantage of.
