Can a Killer Inherit From a Florida Probate?

If you bring about the death of an individual, you cannot inherit from them.

While the statute is broadly stated, if you, by your actions bring about the death of an individual, you cannot benefit in the way of an inheritance from that person. In Florida it is called the Slayer Statute.
