Breaking Up Trusts
Breaking up Florida trusts – can you tear a trust apart? In limited circumstances, you may be able to. Generally, we try to respect the intent of the person that created the trust, but in some circumstances, trusts may be broken up. They may be split up. Beneficiary takes money, beneficiary takes money, the trustee may or may not agree. You may be able to do it without court intervention, or you may have to go to a Florida probate court to bust up that trust.
