Business Litigation Lawyers Handling Commercial Disputes for Companies, Boards, Executives and Parties to Florida Contracts, Partnerships & LLC’s

The firm handles challenging and high-dollar business, partnership, contract and commercial matters in state and federal courts and on appeal.

Partner Robert Hauser has been litigating sophisticated business issues and complex commercial cases in West Palm Beach since 1997. For seventeen years, Rob was a shareholder in a West Palm Beach boutique commercial litigation firm where his practice consisted of partnership and commercial disputes, legal malpractice, appellate work, contracts and healthcare-related litigation.

Rob is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been voted a “Super Lawyer.” Rob’s AV Preeminent rating means that his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence based upon Legal Knowledge, Analytical Capabilities, including creativity, Judgment and Communication. For more on Rob’s background and involvement with The Florida Bar and his appellate work, please see his biography on this site or see below.

If you have an interest in a privately held concern, whether at arms-length with your partners, or a closely held or family-owned business, Rob is available to counsel and advise. With his colleagues at the firm, Rob will lead a team of litigators and attorneys to give counsel, defend, or file suit regarding Florida business litigation matters which require a resolution. He can also personally handle cases in which additional judicial review is desired or needed, such as appeals to state and federal appellate courts. Rob is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Appellate Practice.

In addition to handling discovery and trials in state and federal courts, and before arbitration panels, Rob’s practice also includes advising privately held businesses, employers and partners in business disputes. Founders, owners, shareholders, members of Florida LLC’s, executives, exiting employees and boards of directors have sought Rob’s guidance. For example, Rob can give counsel about the rights of LLC members or shareholders, fiduciary duties of board members, alleged acts of self-dealing, conflicts of interest, options, contracts, non-competes, rights of first refusal, and compensation disputes.

Rob and his colleagues can be additional resources to your existing transactional attorney or corporate counsel. Our firm does not handle “corporate maintenance” or transactional matters per se. We assist you with controversies, judgment calls, legal duties and obligations, negotiations, strategies, dispute resolution and appeals. Rob and the firm can play as limited, or as an expanded role, as you and your existing counsel would like. It is not unusual for Rob to consult with other lawyers or with clients who are already represented by trial or transactional counsel. Rob is available to confidentially consult regarding appellate issues, trial strategy, negotiation tactics and resolution of the matter.
