Simmons v. Baranowitz
- The estate’s personal representative appealed from several of the circuit court’s orders disposing of the estate. On appeal the court held that all but one of the motions were disposed of properly. A legitimate issue remained about inappropriately high fees claimed by one attorney of the estate. The court had deemed these fees excessive and would not close out the estate until that issue was rectified.
